Choose a display
Start with the intended use, then check the exact panel. Display size and display palette are independent: two displays can share a diagonal and pixel dimensions yet require different image formats.
Four separate choices

A finished product's SKU identifies a particular sellable configuration. Do not assume every size, palette, enclosure color, and accessory can be combined.
Panel reference
The following table identifies documented display families and a separately supplied 2.9-inch panel. It is a selection reference, not a list of confirmed products for sale.

Important selection differences
1.54-inch class: SE0154MNP36-FNG-A0 is identified as 1.54-inch in the key-chain firmware documentation, while the supplied specification uses 1.50-inch wording. Keep the 1.54-inch product class for Key Chains and Price Tags, but confirm actual product dimensions before checking fit.
2.9-inch mismatch: SE0290MNP26-FNG-A0 is the documented four-color profile; SE0290NP37-TNG-A0 is a separate three-color supplier panel. Matching resolution does not establish compatibility. Do not substitute one for the other.
Nominal 3.68-inch: the preliminary specification says 3.68-inch in its size table and 3.97-inch in its overview. Sizing remains under review; no definitive actual diagonal is asserted here. Update timing/current figures and exact panel/controller validation are also pending.
7.5-inch: SE0750NW26-TNG-A0 is black, white, and red — three colors. Do not infer a two-color display from an old profile label. Exact module/controller, adapter, and power validation remain necessary.
Let the device identify its image format
Before each image is encoded, the app must read Metadata from the connected device: display part, width, height, color count, pixel format, and required image length. Metadata determines how to prepare the image. A category name, folder name, or manually chosen size cannot replace that check.
If the device identity differs from the product you expected, stop and contact support. Do not force a format or assume that a different panel is compatible.
